Odua Research Group is a not-for-profit organisation.
It derives its funding from contributions from private individuals and organisations with a shared interest in the emancipation of the Yoruba Nation.

Legal Analysts (Staff C2)

We are looking for legal practitioners that specialise in the four areas below:
    C2-1 – Constitutional Law
    C2-2 – Human Rights Law
    C2-3 – Criminal Law
    C2-4 – International Law

This is aimed, not only as enhancing, but as providing the final front  to our research efforts. 
Analysts must be able to prepare high quality credible reports based on their own investigations, data provided and available reports. Such reports must comply with the form and formats that could be presented to appropriate world bodies and international organisation such as the International Court of Justice (ICJ), International Criminal Court in the Hague (ICC) and the UN Human Rights Commission.

Qualification and experience.

Candidates must be appropriately qualified practicing and fully registers lawyers. You must demonstrate a proven record of achievements and result in your area of specialisation over a minimum period of ten years.
An international travel passport and a willingness for possible overseas travels on assignment will be considered an advantage.

What we expect

You will be expected to conduct in-depth research and produce structured report on key issues within the subject area covered by the assignment.
A general framework in form of a roadmap for the study, to include the time-plan and the report will be agreed in advance.

Nature of the contract

This is assignment-based  consultancy service.
We would like to sign consultancy agreements with the successful applicants by end of August with starting date preferably in the second half of September.
