Related Groups

Several groups of stakeholders are actively engaged in issues relating to the Yoruba people. Below are links to some of these groups.

NINAS

Nigerian Indigenous Peoples Alliance for Self-Determination - the multi-ethnic alliance of the indigenous peoples of the Middle Belt (part of the former Northern Region), Ilana Omo Oodua (the former Western Region) and the Lower Niger (Former Eastern & Mid-Western Regions).

LNC

Lower Niger Congress - the aggregation of several Self-Determination Initiatives of the Eastern Half of Southern Nigeria, being the Ethnic Nationalities spread across the combined pre-1966 Eastern and Midwestern Regions of Nigeria (now fractured into the 11 States)

IOO

Ìlànà Ọmọ Oòduà - working towards preserving and enhancing the Yoruba language, nation and culture at home and abroad, and uniting. Working towards creation of a sovereign Yoruba state, a peaceful, prosperous home for the descendants of Oduduwa.

YWC

Yoruba World Congress - the umbrella body of Yoruba people and groups, promotes, defends and achieves the collective growth and developmental aspirations and interests, prosperity, security, wellbeing, welfare and sustenance of Yoruba People and culture.

NAOS

National Association of Oduduwa Students and Youths - an ideological umbrella that unites the Oodua students for the protection and preservation of students welfarism and Yoruba civilisation and actualization of Oduduwa Republic.

FFN

FFN - Freedom From Nigeria - a grouping of people, committed and dedicated to bringing freedom and security to the millions of indigenous people of southern and middle-belt who currently face oppression, created this useful joint information portal.

OGAFI

Oduduwa Grand Alliance For Independence - a movement for self-determination with ultimate goal of complete independence and political autonomy the peoples with shared historical and cultural values on the Gulf of Guinea known as the Bight of Benin .

OPC

Oodua Peoples Congress is a social cultural group created in 1994 to defend, protect and promote Yoruba interests, preserve the cultural heritage, preserve Yoruba royal and traditional institution and also advocate the restructuring of Nigeria.

E O ODUA

EGBE OMO ODUDUWA (South Florida) is a group of Yorubas in diaspora, fostering greater understanding, love and unity among the Yoruba Community and promoting general welfare of all its members and of Yoruba Community at large.

OD TVRADIO

ODUDUWA TVRADIO is an online based Radio TV station created in April 2020. It is dedicated to providing information and entertainment to Odùduwà people both at home and in diaspora. Its page currently has over 100.000 followers and some 45.000 likes.

ODUDUWA RG

ODUDUWA REPUBLIC GROUP is an online social-networking group created in June 2020 and with over 10.000 members. It is a rapidly growing active group providing a platform for its exclusively Yoruba members to discuss the Oduduwa Republic and ways to achieve it.

Y.N. AGENDA

YORUBA NEWS AGENDA is a FB group set up in 2016 for the development of Yoruba people, promoting the culture, for the development, support and advancement of Yoruba civilization, projecting unity and educating all Yoruba sons and daughters at home and abroad.
